Daniel Pouget

DANIEL POUGET, Ricky and Honk! author, was born in the Loire Valley during World War II but relocated when the family chateau was occupied by the Germans and then the U.S. Army. At the age of seven, not speaking a word of English, he was sent to an English boarding school where he had to learn quickly how to box, play cricket, race Dinky Toys, and survive fagging. Daniel’s career in marketing, advertising, and finance began with a job in East Africa that took him from Cairo to Cape Town and from Yemen to Mauritius, and his fiction is often informed by his travels.
