 KIRBY WILLIAMS (The Mermaid
and the Firefly) is the author of Rage in Paris, a fast-paced blend of
historical fiction, crime, and farce. Its sequel, The Long Road from Paris
(Pushcart, 2018), continues the story of Urby Brown, a black American who moves
to Paris between the wars to escape the racial prejudice of his native country.
