KIM PELLET (Me and My Suitcase; Paradise Reframed; The Tanning Salon) moved to France from the U.S. in 2003, trailing her French husband. Recalling the quote that goes “Everyone in their life should plant a tree, have a child, and write a book,” Kim says that while she has planted a few trees and given birth (to a son), she does not intend to write a book. She has written a few short stories, and she hopes these count. She runs an English-speaking nursery for French toddlers.
